TOO FAR GONE - TODD BLUBAUGHgestalten
Todd Blubaugh abruptly left his life as a Seattle-based commercial photographer, determined to pressure his interest in travel photography. His long planned trip, criss-crossing the nation was meant as an escape, and a chance to combine to great inventions: the camera and the motorbike. But with the passing of his parents Todd's journey took an unexpected gravity.
All told Todd spent six months on the road, touching down in various US cities during his transcontinental trip - this is the pictorial and written account of his odyssey. Included in its pages are a number of found artefacts and a number of unsent letters to the people Todd encountered encountered along the way. His time spent traveling marks a personal sea change, and period of great self-discovery. Melancholic and comedic in turns, Todd's story offers the adventure to any reader who wishes to ride along.
